Attorney

Curt BrommCurt Bromm was the Speaker of the Nebraska Legislature and represented District 23 for 12 years. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nebraska in 1967 and graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1970. His legal practice emphasis is estate, farm and business planning, banking, and real estate.

Mr. Bromm is a member of the Nebraska Bar Association, with sections on probate, trusts, and estates. He has served on the Fifth Judicial District Committee on Ethics. A founding board member of Saunders County Youth Service System, he also served four years as Saunders County Attorney and ten years on the Wahoo Board of Education.

Mr. Bromm has a long history of working with governmental entities including service as municipal attorney for several area communities, Saunders County Attorney, as well as serving three terms as Senator in the Nebraska State Legislature, and acting as Speaker of the Legislature from 2002-2004.  He has co-authored publications on estate planning and taught classes and presented programs on the subject to farm and small business organizations. He is a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Wahoo.

LorenLoren L. Lindahl graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1968 with a Degree in Business Administration as well as a Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1972.

Mr. Lindahl joined the Edstrom and Bromm Law Firm in 1973. He is a member of the Saunders County Bar Association and the Nebraska Bar Association. He was a four-term Saunders County Attorney and was a member of the National Association District Attorneys and the Nebraska Association of County Attorneys.

Mr. Lindahl was also a delegate to the Nebraska State Bar Association House of Delegates and served on the Dues Governance Committee. He is currently the City of Wahoo attorney as well as an attorney to other governmental subdivisions. His legal practice emphasis includes governmental law, estate planning, contracts and real estate matters. Mr. Lindahl has been and is currently involved in many community activities including the Wahoo Community Chest, the Wahoo Templecraft Association, American Legion, Greater Wahoo Development Foundation, Prairie Hills Girls Scout Council, Wahoo Board of Education, Educational Service Unit #2, and is a member of the United Methodist Church. Currently, Mr. Lindahl is also a Commissioner of the Commission of Industrial Relations of the State of Nebraska.

Maureen Freeman-CaddyMaureen Freeman-Caddy joined the firm in 1993. She is a native of North Bend, Nebraska. Ms. Freeman-Caddy graduated from the University of Nebraska with highest distinction with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Honors and Agricultural Economics in 1990.

She graduated with distinction from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1993. During law school, she served as a law clerk for the Lancaster County District Court. She worked as an economic assistant for the Foreign Agricultural Service in Washington, D.C. and has also served as Deputy Saunders County Attorney.

Ms. Freeman-Caddy was a founding member of the Saunders County Child Abuse Treatment Team. Her practice includes Guardianship, Adoptions, and Family Law as well as Estate Planning, Probate, and Farm and Business Planning.

JovanJovan Lausterer's practice focuses on all aspects of federal and state estate and gift planning, business and corporate organization and planning, business owner exit planning, site selection and planning, construction law, natural resources, and real estate transactions.

Mr. Lausterer works with all types and sizes of clients, from individuals and small business owners to large public corporations. Jovan joined Edstrom, Bromm, Lindahl & Freeman-Caddy in 2007 as an Associate.

Previously he worked as a Law Clerk and Attorney for seven years at the Omaha firm Erickson & Sederstrom, PC.
